Story 1 Xiao in the future Thousands of years from now the vigilant yaksha remains, heartbroken towards the millions of people he could not save, enveloped in the darkness once more. He lives, immortal, always looking for a chance to prove himself once more. He is different than he once was, violent and dangerous, unmaintained and uncontrollable. He wanders the land alone, fearful of what dangers are to come. He wanders the silent plains under the cover of night, destroying anything and everything that gets in his way. "Berserk" as the few bold villagers say. Even the archons could not control him now. The 7 great beings now cower in the shadows, watching in horror at what Teyvat has now become. And the yaksha, he lives on. Believing that "mercy" was meant for the weak. He stands on the tower of wilderness, that once was a shrine to Rex Lapis, and he calls out to the silence: I am a yaksha, I have no interest in this trait called "Mercy" I have no interest in what you call "love." Story 2 Hu Tao journey to the beyond She trembled with every step, this was the first time she had been here. The souls of the afterlife drifted around her, occasionally giggling and whispering “you won’t find him here.” Yet she refused to believe it, she could not go on without a proper goodbye. Her grandfather, the 75 director of the Wangshang funeral parlor, gone… “life is meaningless without death” she told herself over and over again. “It was his time…” But she could not accept it, she needed to see him one more time, to wish him a proper goodbye. For days she stumbled across the beyond, her supplies declining rapidly. Yet she would not give up, determined, she reached a tower, hoping she could get a better view. The spirits were now laughing, teasing her “he’s not here anymore” they would say, “go back to where you came from” still she rejected them, she would not give up, she would continue no matter what happened. The spirits soon got bored of her and drifted away, only one remained, an old lady, struggling to push through the crowd, she spoke in her raspy voice “he has passed on, peacefully.” Understanding had suddenly dawned on her, her grandfather had passed on without any regrets, he had gone to the spirits realm, where she could see him no more. “You should go back,” the old lady said, “back to your realm.” And so she did, taking the same treacherous path she came from, and yet it seemed different, perhaps more lively, she was sad to not have seen him and yet, she left with a peace in mind, a peace she could not have found any other way. She emerged hungry and tired, the tools she packed had long been gone, the food had disappeared, her bag was nearly empty except for one thing, a glassy orb no bigger than her hand pyro red and full of life “ a vision” she thought only given to the most worthy… She looked up slowly at Celestia and whispered a silent prayer, a prayer of peace for her grandfather, a prayer of power for what is right, and a prayer of happiness for everyone, dead or alive.
Story 3(cuz it was to long) Hu Tao's wander through the streets Hu Tao walked down the streets as a ghost. She was lost in thought, wondering if her grandfather would be proud of what she had done. Thousands of years from when she was born. She was dead, long dead. Wandering the streets of Liyue looking for her descendant. Li Tao the 356th director of the Wangshang Funeral Parlor. She had just been thinking about how far her family had come when she came across a rather interesting sight. “Qiqi '' she had the time to think before the 3000-year-old zombie looked in her direction, forcing her to hide. Qiqi was holding someone's hand and Hu Tao almost screamed when she realized who it was. It was Zhongli, her former collab, he didn’t seem to have aged at all, he was still the handsomely annoying, emotionless self and nothing felt very different about him. Hu Tao drifted closer and took a better look at the situation. She could see Qiqi’s hand tighten around Zhongli as they passed a father and daughter holding hands. She could hear Zhongli say: “Qiqi, what's wrong?” “Nothing”, Qiqi responded, “Qiqi is just confused.” Zhongli looked at her with deep love in his eyes, “Confused about what? you can ask me anything,” Zhongli said, “I do know a lot of things.” Qiqi began to explain. “Qiqi has a poor memory, Qiqi often has difficulties remembering things, but when Qiqi saw that girl and her father, Qiqi’s heart started to hurt. Why does it hurt? Qiqi can’t remember anything. And if Qiqi can’t remember, Qiqi can’t understand. Qiqi is a zombie. Qiqi is a corpse. Qiqi must have had a past, but Qiqi can’t remember anything. Tell me, is this pain related to Qiqi’s past? Why does it hurt Qiqi so much? Mister… It hurts, please help me.” Zhongli looked up at the sky, then down at the ground. When he finally spoke he whispered: I’m sorry that I can’t release you from your pain, but I am here now. If you are confused then I will guide you. If you forget then I will remember for you. I know how painful it must be. But you're not alone anymore. Don’t endure it by yourself. And suddenly Qiqi burst out crying, saddened by not knowing why. And Hu Tao was crying by now as well, “you idiot…” she thought, “You never understood… I wanted to relieve your stress, I wanted to save you, to keep you away from this pain… It’s too late now, you have chosen your destiny, I only wish for one thing… promise to defend Liyue forever… young adepti…”
