I hope that’s fine. *click for a closer look Okay so Name: Cordelia Gender: Female Backstory: Cordelia was a princess of the Southern Kingdom of the Atlantic Sea. It was their kingdom’s tradition for girls to herbalism. Cordelia was not interested in herbalism, however, she was much more interested in preforming magic. Cordelia went to a sorceress to become an apprentice, but she had to do so in secret. Her kingdom was against any form of magic and considered it witchcraft, it was against their laws to know magic. One day, Cordelia was caught sneaking to go to another lesson, they found out that she was learning magic from a sorceress. Since they couldn’t punish the princess, they ordered the sorceress to be executed. Cordelia was distraught and, in an act of impulse, she summoned a giant wave of ice shards, killing several people. Cordelia was horrified at what she did, she ran away with the sorceress, three days later they were named fugitives and were outcasts of the Sea Kingdom. Cordelia and the sorceress went from Kingdom to Kingdom seeking refuge, but they were chased away every time they found out about their magic. Finally, after 7 years of running away, Cordelia and the sorceress stumbled upon a Kingdom that welcomed magic, they were happy to finally find a home. A couple months after they settled in, Cordelia was walking to the market when she bumped into the prince of the Kingdom, she fell in love immediately with him. She started to chat with him and the prince seemed to like her too. After a while, prince told her he had to leave, but before he did, he asked to her meet him by the Kingdom tree, the one that held the entire kingdom together. Cordelia happily agreed, but when she came home she did not tell the sorceress of what had happened with the prince. What Cordelia didn’t know, however, is that the prince was already in a arranged marriage with another princess. Cordelia went and met the prince at the Kingdom tree, they were happy together and decided to meet every second day of the month. This went on for almost three years until, one day, the prince didn’t come, Cordelia waited at the tree until dawn, when she came home, the sorceress asked her were she was the whole day and Cordelia yelled at her in response. The prince didn’t show the next meeting either, or the next. Four months later, Cordelia receive a letter from the prince that he wasn’t interested in her anymore. Cordelia was heartbroken. She went to the sorceress and told them everything that had happened, begging them to help her, the sorceress was reluctant at first, but they finally gave in. The sorceress casted a spell on the prince that made him love Cordelia again, but something went wrong. The prince nearly died and when the the spell was traced back to the sorceress, they were ordered to be killed. Cordelia tried to stop them but it was no use. She had lost everything that was dear to her. The prince had spared Cordelia’s life, but she was sentenced for 20 years in prison, in one last meeting with the prince Cordelia asked why the prince wasn’t interested in her anymore the prince told her that he was just using her as someone he could stay with until he finds interest in the princess he was interested in. Cordelia was then sent away, feeling bitter, betrayed, and lonely, she was left in her prison for 2 years before she was let out early by a hooded figure, in which I will continue in my other entry here:
