Creative Commons license: ‘This license allows reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, so long as attribution is given to the creator. The license allows for commercial use.’ Anything on Scratch is available under Creative Commons. That means, any art I post on Scratch can be used as stated above. If I post, say, a ref of my character, someone can legally use my character designs however they want, as long as I am credited. They don’t have to ask for permission, like what a copyright does, they just have to credit me. But the problem is, I do not want my art or character designs available for use. This sounds selfish at first, but I’ll explain why I don’t want them used. I am going to pursue a career in writing when I get older, and my characters are going to be used with my books. If my characters are spread around on Scratch, and possible the internet, there could be complications. Most likely there won’t be, but I don’t want to take chances with my ocs. So, I will probably not be posting any more art of my characters. However, I probably will still do fanart, and maybe some other stuff. Also I don’t like being on Scratch as much as I used to, though it may just be bc of this account. I kind of want a fresh start, so I may move, but even if I do I won’t tell anyone. Also, I’ve been really focusing on my current writing project, so any DTAs, OTAs, MAPs, etc I joined I’m gonna go ahead and drop out. This doesn’t count for stuff I’ve already put in my entries for, such as the Gasoline MAP. I’m gonna try and decide whether to stay on this acc or move to another, and what I’ll do.
