Cats On-Board ╔══════════*.·:·.☽✧ ✦ ✧☾.·:·.*══════════╗ [ • I . THE BOAT • ] The Great Crusader is a rickety, 80-odd year old boat mainly constructed using wood and metal. The hull is emblazoned with the words 'Great Crusader' in a faded, peeling bright yellow paint. The ship consists of three main areas: the deck, the cabins, and the below, the latter of which the cats will be spending most of their time on. The deck is where the cats first board the ship, with wooden planks and multiple tools stationed around the edges, such as six cannons (three on each side), a writing setup used for updating the logbook, and a large trapdoor leading down to the below. You can enter the cabins through a door in a raised area near the back of the deck. The cabins are divided into four main sections; the Captain's cabin, the area known as the crew's rest, the kitchens, and a storage cabin. The Captain's cabin is almost impossible to get into. It is where the captain of the ship sleeps, where the treasure is stored and where the maps are kept. The crew's nest is a large cabin with multiple hammocks strung across, where the Crusader's crew sleep. The kitchens is where the cook and his limited staff work, housing a secret passage to the storage room so that they can fetch any food needed quickly. If you would like for your character to roll to steal some Twoleg food from the kitchens, you may down below. The below is where the cats are kept. There are plenty of rats and mice that snuck onboard to keep them fed, although they may not be the most appealing to RiverClan and WindClan cats. ╔══════════*.·:·.☽✧ ✦ ✧☾.·:·.*══════════╗ [ • II . THE NPCS • ] • THE SCALLYWAGS • –– BLACKBEARD A handsome tuxedo cat with a white pelt and a black chin and chest, Blackbeard is the leader of a gang of cats on the Crusader. He is an NPC. –– DAVY JONES A pale brown tom with darker tortoiseshell markings, Davy Jones is a member of Blackbeard's gang. He is an NPC. –– JACK SPARROW A dark ginger tom with lighter stripes and a white chest, Jack Sparrow is a member of Blackbeard's gang. He is an NPC. The Scallywags are a gang consisting of three cats that live aboard the Crusader. If treated with kindness, they will share the cat food the Twolegs aboard the ship leave out for them. If treated with hostility, they will respond similarly, and will feel no compassion towards you. • DAWNING BURROWS • –– PIRATE A black tortoiseshell with orange patches and a missing left eye. He is an NPC. –– SEADRAGON Dawn is a black tortoiseshell with a ginger coat. She is an NPC. –– CROW'S NEST Crow's Nest is a black, orange and cream she-kit with blind brown eyes. She is an NPC. The Dawning Burrows are a group of ragtag sea-faring loners. Pirate and Seadragon are former Clan cats, formerly going by the names of Batburrow and Dawn respectively. Crow's Nest is their daughter. ╔══════════*.·:·.☽✧ ✦ ✧☾.·:·.*══════════╗ [ • III . ROLEPLAYING ADVICE • ] 1 | The below is very dark. The only light on the ship comes from candles, lanterns, and daylight. However, this does not affect the cats very much, as they have superb night vision, especially ShadowClan and ThunderClan. 2 | Jack Sparrow has a small amount of knowledge on medicinal herbs and treatment. However, he will only help you if you have treated the Scallywags with kindness, and even then he can only heal minor scrapes, cuts and gashes. For larger injuries, he suggests you butter up the Twolegs, and then hope they help you out. 3 | The Crusader provides blankets and moth-eaten pillows for the cats to rest on.
