Now that @mewtube47 has released his project I thought I'd go ahead and work on this project live. If you see anything weird or broken, that's probably because I'm in the middle of working on it. Scroll down to see the additions and optimizations added to this engine! Tails has been added! You can toggle characters on the fly with 1, and he works exactly like the original! The classic Green Hill badniks have been added to Delta Framework! Go give them a bashing for this test drive! Other moves from Sonic's other games have been added like the Insta-shield from Sonic 3 & Knuckles! Widescreen support has been added! Now you can play this engine in 16x9 aspect ratio in TurboWarp! Movement variables have been added! You can now edit an aspect of Sonic easily like his acceleration and top speed with the variables included! Alright, so now I ACTUALLY got to put my Classic Sonic knowledge to use, and it's with a collab with @mewtube47 for Sonic Genesis Age 2! Everything in this project is already in mew's project, so you should probably check that out as well. I think now I can safely say that this is the most accurate Sonic engine on Scratch.
THIS PROJECT IS OUTDATED, please just go ahead and use normal Delta 2 by @pullmehair, or heck maybe even the Delta editor by @mewtube47, just not this. Or if you're really, REALLY patient, you can wait a couple months for my Delta project demo, which uses an updated version of this. (Old description): Yeah I'm not working on this anymore, but I have found out why this might feel a bit slower than the Genesis games. I did multiply the variables by 2 times to accommodate for 30 FPS, but the sprite size is also 1.5 times as big to accommodate to match the size of the original screen... but I didn't multiply movement by that amount to match that as well... so I'll keep that in mind next time. You pretty much don't have to worry about me updating this as much anymore, but I do recommend using the current Delta build over this.
