Ahhhhh thanks goodness. I thought that I had missed the deadline because I had forgotten to turn this in and then I had a 3-week trip, but thankfully it’s still open so yay :D Anyway, this is my entry for butterfly. I hope you like it! I love her design soooo much! Here’s the backstory that I have: ~note, this takes place in the fairy glen in the Isle of Sky, Scotland~ Butterfly loved her home. Rolling hills, blue sky, sheep to play tag with. It was perfect. But sometimes she wondered what was outside of her home. What lay behind the rows and rows of hills? She often asked herself this question, but never had the courage to answer it. However, one day, she saw a beautiful butterly. It’s wings were splashes of colors and is fluttered cheerfully. Butterfly followed the butterfly, wondering where it was going. She soon lost track of time, following the butterfly for so long that the rolling hills began to become steeper and steeper. However, instead of looking around at the scenery, Butterfly kept her eyes on the butterfly, not wanting to lose. The butterfly kept fluttering until it stopped. When Butterfly finally looked up to see why the butterfly had stopped, she found herself on a mountain. She looked around to see dark blue oceans on one side of her, and far away in the distance were the rolling hills of her home on another side of her. The butterfly began to move again, and Butterfly followed it, but this time looking around at the beautiful scenery. When she got to the top of the mountain, the butterfly continued to flutter, off the ledge. Butterfly wanted to follow the butterfly. She wanted to see more of the world. As she looked around at the Scottish landscape, she realized that she had answered the question that she had always asked herself for years and years. What was outside of her home? Towering dramatic and majestic mountains, vast deep blue oceans that shimmered mysteriously in the fog, and so much more. Butterfly loved her home more than anything, but she loved adventuring. The butterflty had showed her more of the world than she could ever imagine, and she wanted to see even more.
