(Always read the Instructions and Notes and Credits, people) jk, you don't have to, but I would appreciate it. :) What's up? So, this was my attempt to make a DMC for @BluRetrievur. Honestly, I did kind of rush a little at the end, bc there was originally supposed to be workers in the back, and someone ordering a pair of skates, but hey. ig it's supposed to be a DMC anyways, and I was thinking too ahead. Heck, I don't even think I'm supposed to be in it. But, I did another DMC similar to the idea in this one, with the same concept of having a few people in it, and it still made it in like 5th - 6th? I don't remember, but it was for an old DMC for @-NerdAnimator- when he reached 1K (yes, I'm an og fan, but not trying to brag, lol). And not to mention I'm like two hours late in PST (Pacific Standard Time), so I might not make it at all. But, I originally entered the contest in June 26, 2022. But otherwise, I had a lot of fun making this, and expanding on ways I will make my oc look in future projects. It's not the greatest, but I just really wanted to make something since my account has been kinda dead for a while, and making it to the honorable mentions would still mean a lot to me. Even if I don't, I'd say this was still worth my time and congrats to the others that did make it. I will still keep the rules here, bc why not. I'm not sure where the music's from. If you know, please let me know so I can give credit. So, here's a little backstory of the image. I go to a place called "Ice Arena" (I couldn't come up with a clever name, lol), where you can skate and play hockey. I happen to meet BluRetrievur, and do a fist bump with him. Yeah, that's pretty much it. Also, I literally asked for his height, and he's like 6'3, while I'm over here probably 5'8. There's no way I did the exact, correct measurement here, but I did try to eyeball it. June 4th, 2020 Update: Ok, I will admit something. A few of you (my friends) know about this already, but I might as well let everyone know who sees this project, including the host. The artwork is heavily Bluey inspired. Now, idk if it counts as "stealing artwork", but no, I did not trace anything from the show, screenshot any backgrounds, etc. Everything was eyeballed and drawn/shaped by me in Vector on this website. I had to let it out, and if this counts as stealing artwork, I'm sorry. You don't have to include this one in the upcoming results. Again, I did have a lot of fun making this, and the real reason I made my oc, characters, outlining, and backgrounds Bluey related, is bc I really appreciate the show, and got inspiration from it. The animation is always smooth, the colors are colorful, the characters are always lively, etc. I kinda wanted to do the same thing, but put my own twists on it. Like, I would still look human, and other upcoming characters I will make for future projects. This all started when I wanted to make a project with my oc, but in different cartoon styles. I did 5 different styles, including Bluey. Out of the 5, the Bluey one turned out really good (to me at least). So good, I was gonna make it the official look, and that's what I did. So I've been experimenting with this art style before I did this DMC. So yeah, ik it's a lot to read, but I'd rather say what I had to say than keep it a secret.
