My name is Amaya. I live on planet earth, but I am originally from the planet Elenta. I've lived on earth for 6 years now with my parents. I am 13 yrs old in human years but twenty-six in Elenta years. I love pizza and the book camping 101, which started the chain of events of what this book is about. It was the first of January and I was sipping hot cocoa in the living room while watching for Uey on my iphone. A knock on the door made me jump and I spilled my cocoa on my iphone. “Arga!” I whipped my phone off with my shirt and answered the door. What I saw on the other side of it changed my life forever. Standing there was a blonde girl with one green and one brown eye. She was holding a book. “Do you like camping?. well if so I have the book for you!”, the girl asked. I felt my cheeks getting red. What was happening? I was all hot. “Um… sure, how-how much?”,I asked. “20¢” “Ok” “I’ll buy it” I was planning on going on a camping trip with my mom and brother. (my dad dissent like camping) “Let me go get my money” I ran into the house shutting the door behind me. I ran to my room and looked at myself in my mirror. My Ear’s were bright red and so was my face. “Gah!” Last time I felt like this was in first grade and I had a crush on bobby l. And he invited me to his house. But she’s a girl. I thought. I grab a 10 dollar bill from the top of my dresar and open the door, grab the book, give her the cash and go back inside. I heard a muffled, “It was only 20¢!”
