Click the green flag, then set your running speed (meters per second), ranging from 1-10. Press the start button. The faster your speed is, the higher your vaulter goes. At the end it will show the final height off the ground reached by your pole vaulter (in meters).
I made this project to show how your running speed affects how high you get in pole vaulting. I got the idea and the formula from the book "How To: Absurd Scientific Advice for Common Real-World Problems," by Randall Munroe. It explains the physics pretty well and I highly recommend it.
