This project helps you randomize the 6 stats of a Pathfinder (or any D&D-esque game) character! Follow these steps to create a character: 1. Click the begin button. 2. Click a rolling method. If you hover over them, the randomization pattern is explained to you. 3. Pick a race. If you pick a demi-human or human race, you will be asked which stat to put the +2 bonus in, and if you select Custom, you must specify each stat mod, even 0s. 4. Decide whether you want the computer to automatically assign each roll to a stat, or if you would like to do it manually. 5. If you are manually assigning stats, each roll will be shown to you from highest to lowest. Click the stat you want to put the displayed roll into. 6. You now can view the final stats of your character. In addition, based on your stats and race, a randomly generated character will appear to the left.
~WHY ARE CLOUD DATA AND MY USERNAME IMPORTANT?~ Over the course of a few updates, this project now studies what kinds of characters typically make. Every time you finish a character, the project makes note of all of their stats. So now, I can see what the average strength, dexterity, etc. of scratchers' characters are now. Your username is only checked to make sure anything I make doesn't count. Please note that I do not own any rights to Pathfinder. This project was made just for fun and will be removed if it infringes upon copyright. My friends wanted to play a game I recently got into called Pathfinder, and I wanted to make a project that helped those without dice handy to create characters. For those who don't know, Pathfinder is a tabletop roleplaying game, based on Version 3.5 of Dungeons & Dragons. It's pretty difficult for me to explain tersely, sadly, so I would suggest researching it further if you want to know more. As usual, I ripped characters from Final Fantasy III and used the font from Dragon Warrior III. The buttons and backgrounds were made by me.
