I'm not trying to disinclude you and I realise that wasn't the best phrase. @VagueFascination has added that coming out is easier if you come out to someone LGBT+ first, since they will (almost always) be very supportive of who you are and it gives you a bit of practice

I needed something chilled and calm For all of you who have come out to anyone including yourself, I am so proud of you. Accepting yourself when you've grown up being told how you are isn't normal is one of the hardest things to do and it sure caused me a lot of grief. You've come a really long way and you will continue to grow into being able to be yourself no matter who you're with. You are worth just as much as everyone else out there and just because none of the movie heroes or romantic love songs are like you doesn't mean you can't and won't be a hero or successful or have your own grand love story if you so wish. Your life is going to be amazing and you should be proud of who you are and how far you've come and your bravery, because you are so so brave.
