use the sliders, click the image for the note slider to place (space + click, plays the sound). up or down arrow while your mouse is on a note to change its pitch. click on notes to remove them, space + click on a note to see its pitch value. press the play/stop button to play/stop your "song". "note" slider changes the sound/note. "song speed/tempo" slider changes the speed. "volume" slider does what u think it does.
