After the dice is rolled drag two cards from the top into the 2 positions on the bottom to come up with the correct sum or difference that is shown on the result card on the right. Notice that if you use the numbers on the cards the fractions will also give the correct result. To get more points click the 3 cards to find the common denominator for the fractions and check this fact. You maybe able to find many such pairs of numbers and to get more and more points. Your bonus points will double each time you get a new pair of cards that work, so try to get as many pairs as you can before rolling the dice again.
Babylonians 4,000 years ago invented a method to do fraction arithmetic using only whole numbers. Playing with the Babylonian Fraction Game you will learn how this was done. For example to get 1/2 (30) you can add 20 (1/3) and 10 (1/6) or 12(1/5) and 18 (3/10) etc...! I would like to thank David_Hellam for the dice and my grand children Cyrus and Rooz for testing and debugging the original cards and the Game on Scratch for me. Also thanks go to DeadEndFuture (should change his Scratch name!) for two great comments that made the game much more playable and enjoyable. Thanks to @mlcreator for finding a good bug.loozjSIU777X7D77EOjjjdojddjueeuwwuo--
