"So.. this is your old hiding place huh?," Starprint said as she went through Feather's star scrolls while breaking the awkward silence. "Yeah.. eversince i fled the phantom world, i stayed here. And i just told you the rest..," Feather's voice trailed off, her ears pricked up. She gave a serious glance and looked around the room, she slowly opened the rock - colored entrance to see phantoms passing by. She motioned for them to be quite. "Hey, something suspicious about this rock," one of the phantom soldiers said. "Is this a button?," another soldier said. The door opened and everyone hide somewhere inside the base. Pierce was under the blanket, Starprint pretending to be a statue, Feather used her powers to turn invisible. Dusty was too weak to even move, and Alec was hiding under the table. The phantom soldiers saw Dusty and they were about to take him away. He was left there vulnerable. Alec shouted, "DUSTY!," the two soildiers soon found Alec underneath the table and approached him. He went into a fighting position. Even though his father was half phantom, Alec was an ordinary animal. This was dangerous for him. They had a fierce battle, but everytime Alec was about to land a heavy attack, the phantoms dissapeared and attacked him from behind, over and over. All his energy was drained, and the soldiers took Alec. "ALEC! WAIT-," but by then, the soldiers had already closed the rock entrance. Dusty couldn't believe what he just saw, he then turned to the others. "Feather, Starprint, P-Pierce.. what are they going to do to him?!" "I-.. don't know," Feather said. Her voice filled with sadness and shock. "It's.. hard to believe that this'll ever happen..," Pierce said as he got out of the blanket. "I never thought the phantoms would ever attack us.. i thought i could just enter the phantom portal and end them AL-" "WHOA CALM DOWN..," Feather said, her tone was mad and she seemed to be challenging. "WHAT DO YOU HAVE AGAINST THE PHANTOMS? NOT ALL OF THEM ARE LIKE YOUR FATHER! YOU WANT TO END THEM? WHY DONT YOU END YOUR FATHER INSTEAD? YOU COULD ALWAYS JUST ALL PHANTOMS SO WHY DONT YOU END ME, YOURSELF, AND ALL THE HALF PHANTOMS AS WELL? HUH?!" Pierce looked down, he was speechless. He didn't say anything and sat down to collect his thoughts. Feather WAS confident about this, but her mood had turned bad. She didn't know they would argue in such a short matter of time or even be found so quickly. Now Alec was probably captured. Dusty just sat there stunned, and Starprint was lost in thought. Feather took in a deep breath and announced, "Look, this base may be cozy, looks nice, safe, whatever. We'll have to find a secure base with everything we need that may not feel much at home. There are 3 million phantoms, a small population yet powerful. And the rest half phantoms. Tomorrow all 3 million will be around our world. So we have to go now. Everyone should be captured but Micro should be in the Nature Inn at the phantom basement. We'll be going there. It wont be as nice as this place but it has everything we need and IT IS safe." She glanced at Pierce, he nodded, Dusty did a small nod. "I mean.. if it means we'll be safe.." Starprint nodded. "Ok, lead the way. A lot of events have been happening quickly. If we are to go to the phantom basement, and it may be found. We have to think of a substitute base there." Feather agreed and motioned for them to follow her. They didn't know what was waiting for them outside. 10 phantoms stood there, they had suspected more animals were in the cave and have prepared weapons. Pierce was ready to toss the dust from the zios pillar, Feather's powers allowed her to transform into an eagle, Starprint used her healing powers to heal Dusty inside the cave. Only Feather and Pierce were fighting, would they survive?
