(Link to my book is down at the bottom, but please read the description first!) Y'all read the title! :) For those of you who saw my first project about this when it came out a couple months ago, I am /so/ sorry for the wait :'D The approval process took so much longer than I'd been expecting, but my book, Urban Demon, is now officially published and available for anyone in the U.S. to purchase! :) Q- What is the intended audience for this book? A- Before going any farther, let me first say that I do not recommend this book to anyone 1; younger than 13, and 2; anyone who will be triggered by mentions of unaliving, death, sadness, and violence, some of which are heavy themes in the book. There's also very mild language. Other than that, there's not much to look out for! If you're older than thirteen and don't find any of these topics triggering to you, feel free to keep reading :) Q- What is the book about? A- Fei Ling, also known as Leng, is a homeless teenager living in a modern city. He's hidden his emotions and lived in solitude for his whole life to appear strong and self-sustaining, but that changes when a demon confronts him. Leng must get over his fear of accepting his emotions and overcome many obstacles in order to defeat the demon and save himself, his friends, and humanity's future. Q- Why did you make this project? A- The main reason for this project is that a lot of people seemed to be interested when I talked about publishing my book in an earlier project! A lot of people asked me where they could buy the book when it came out, so I wanted to share. I don't intend to advertise my book beyond this project, but since so many of you were interested, I didn't see the harm in sharing. Q- Is this project allowed? A- I won't complain if ST takes this project down because I admit it seems a bit of a stretch, but I did check the site rules and it says that you're not allowed to link any websites with personal info/a means to private communication; Barnes & Noble (the website the book is on) doesn't have any means to private communication, so as far as I could tell, there isn't a problem there, and in terms of privacy, I even went so far as to use a pen name (fake name) on the website so- Q- So... where can I buy the book? A- To anyone who is interested in the book, here is the link! https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/urban-demon-jay-dailey/1141722828?ean=9798765587140 I can guarantee the website is a safe place to buy from, as I've purchased many books from it before! Although if you're interested in buying, please ask your parents first if you have any concerns. Thank you all for your support! I don't mind at all if you can't buy the book, there's no need to comment "sorry, I can't buy it". I wrote it for fun, not for money, so I honestly don't mind what happens with it :') Again, the whole point of sharing this project was because a lot of people were interested in reading it and I wanted to give them the chance. If you do end up buying it, though, thank you for taking the time to read something I wrote, it means a lot :)
