A virtual ecosystem that simulates natural selection and kind of evolution. A child of an existing "creature" will (normally) have a 1 in 50 chance of changing its statistics slightly, and also (normally) 1 in 50 chance of changing them majorly. It can only change 1 statistic at a time, however. (Not counting color or brightness) Press flag and watch it happen. Click a Creature to look at its stats. Press spacebar to hide all shown stats. CHANGELONG: 0.1.0: release 0.1.1: added "clam" preset that you can use in the project 0.1.2: added omnivores, carnivores, and the ability to attack and kill other creatures. Also added lifespan that is directly proportional to Max Energy. 0.1.3: updated diet/hostility threshold system. 0.1.4 OFFICIAL: added an ID system so you can identify what generation and what first creature a creature came from. Also updated stat access. 0.1.5: Added body variations depending on size and diet. Made it so that if the creature is hungry, it has a higher chance of its children changing. 0.1.6: Added a border in the middle of the map, set a limit on how many plants can appear, and changed the limit for creatures, to fix use with unlimited clones.
