So this is more or less a demo for an upcoming game, but this is a game you can be in. This is simply a basic idea of the mechanics and such. I can add things as requested and if I think they make sense. We have the basics. Jumping, punching, moving. Now, I did think about adding ducking, then changed my mind because I didn't feel like coding it. Read the notes and credits for being in the future game. Form info and such is there. ALSO IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO BE ABLE TO ADD THE ABILITY TO DAMAGE THE AI WHICH IS WHY I DIED A FEW TIMES. I added those variables, because I was just curious how many of you would lose to my trashy AI enemy attempt. Also I did defeat 1, as I am kind to the players. Also you attack with E. Left/RIght arrow keys to move left/right. Up arrow to jump. Have fun. Also looking in the cloud variables tells you who lost to the stikman and who defeated them. Sometimes one will lose and then win, vice versa. YOU CAN APPLY FOR MULTIPLE ROLES!
So.. here to be a part of the game? I wouldn't know, I have a thing to where my notes and credits are in tabs not just to boxes vertically symmetrical to each other. So character wise, adding an enemy that you would fight, go inside, go to the second backdrop, fill that all out. Then, for the code, go to the "adding character" sprite Then add, When green flag clicked, broadcast ack. Now, Ack does a specific thing. Ack allows for certain keys to press for animations. Hold D to trigger right run, A to trigger left run, SPACE to trigger jump, E to trigger attack. If you want to add custom abilities, these must all be contained in a singular sprite, its okay if you have to use clones for effects, just make sure EVERY clone gets deleted by the end. Actually I can worry about that. Now that extra abilities? You need to try and explain what they are and how they work if you can't code them, because I cannot code for you in your project. Do not comment about entering the game. For questions, yes, but for randomness, preferably not. I find it would be important to be scrolling through answering questions. I prefer to scroll through for questions, and the coding forms. Now some humorous stuff, like your experiences, there is an official studio, where you can post ANYTHING related to the game, or even just have entire conversations about the game itself, and also, I prefer you put any bugs you find here, because if you put it in the studio I won't get a notification and be able to fix it. You can ask other coders of this team for help. But that is as far out as it goes. -Use ONLY YOUR ORIGINAL CODE. If I find, or any other coders find, that you have stolen code, you get 3 strikes. 3 strikes, and you will be stripped of your coder. If it is accidental, or extremely common code, like HP code or simple when this key pressed next costume code, that's fine. But some complex, only one person has ever done it code, and you stole it, I- that is not acceptable. -You will not put ANYTHING, and I mean ANYTHING inappropriate in your projects. -Follow scratch community guidelines. -Do not hate on fellow coders. If you see coding you consider not good, but know how to fix it, try to put it nicely, sorta like this: "I see your code works, its actually pretty good. But I do have a recommendation to make your movement better. Instead of ____ you could do ____ instead. This is just a suggestion." You could probably put that way better than me. Just, be kind to one another. That's pretty much all. So... uh... lets see if this project truly works out, and people join, or if no one joins.
