Read all the instructions and credits BEFORE starting, as well as while the fix is being completed. Press the right arrow key to navigate. 1. You will need: Superglue, the broken glasses (I used random plastic, ignore that), a paperclip, a hand drill, wire-cutter-type cutters, and a flat surface. 2. Unbend your paperclip (mine was already unbent). 3. Using the wire-cutters, cut about a one centimeter length. 4. It should look something like this. 5. Using the hand drill, drill a small (about half a cm) hole in EACH side of the broken glasses reach. 6. If the paperclip doesn't fit, widen the hole with an Exacto knife by inserting the tip of the blade into the hole, and spinning the handle of the knife. 7. Trial fit the pieces WITHOUT glue. 8. Trial fitting here shows that the holes are not deep enough, so I went back with the hand drill. 9. Using a small amount of superglue, first glue the paperclip into one side of the glasses, then the other. 10. You are done! Let sit for 2+ hours to allow glue to reach maximum strength.
NOTE: Depending on the area where the glasses are broken, you may need more than one paperclip brace. WARNING: Cyanoacrylate (superglue) is an eye, respiratory, and skin irritant. Use in a well ventilated space. If you get superglue on your fingers, DO NOT PANIC. Peel slowly, do not pull. WARNING #2: Do not use this fix if your glasses are broken near the lenses. The glue may fog the lenses if you do this.
