So, I tried to get even closer. Suddenly, I tripped over a plastic bottle and toppled onto the ground. "Hello? Are you alright?" I heard a soft voice call out. I blinked a couple times then I saw a girl with long brown hair, and hazel eyes. "Who are you guys?" I asked curiously. "I am Laura, and this is my friends," Laura said pointing to them. A whole group came forward. "Woah," I said in awe. "Meet Max, Sarah, and Victor." Laura said enthusiastically. "I- am Avira, Avira Jones, also I wasn't following you guys at all." I said awkwardly. "Oh, sure you weren't!." Max said giggly. "Fine, I was, so are you all like friends?" I asked. "Well... we will tell you if you promise not to tell anyone." Laura exclaimed seriously. "I promise, I pinky promise." I said firmly. "We are known as the disguised gang, we are very nice people though." Said, Laura. "I know, although I should be going, I'll be late for dinner." I said, walking away. I should have asked them about how strange they have been acting before I knew them but then I would just be a nosy person. I rode back home and walked inside. "Avira, where were you? Dinner is cold." Said Mother, looking concerned. "I'm sorry, mother, I was just hanging out with Anna." I lied. Anna was my cousin who mother adored me hanging out with, because she was "well-mannered". She was not my type though; she was a very perfect and a mean cousin. If I told my mother about who I just met she would to cautious about me. "Alright, have a seat, I made some bread, and vegetables." Mother responded pulling out a chair. At last it was finally bedtime. I hopped into bed and pulled the blanket onto me. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
