Walking outside to check your mail, you notice a peculiar letter inside. It’s offwhite in color, with a red wax seal. Tracing the wax’s pattern, you dust off the previously covered up design etched into it. A poorly drawn pair of singing birds. “Odd.” You say to yourself, before taking the rest of the mail and walking back into your household. Pulling out the strange letter from the pile you’ve made of mail on the counter, you open it. Inside it says as follows, in brilliant handwriting I would say; “IMPORTANT! Please heed what I have to say! Dear reader, Hello! My name is Daisy Greenwood, I live a few blocks away from you on Ivy Avenue. If you’re reading this, then you are the only person with a post mount mailbox on your street! I would just like you to know that the birds have stopped singing, and I have reasons to believe it has something to do with this mailbox.” And then there is nothing after that- the rest of the page is torn. What could this mean? You wonder, then continue your day as normal. That night, you decide to meet this ‘Daisy Greenwood’. You’ll find her house tomorrow morning, Ivy Avenue, here you come! end.
Here’s the basic plot v Daisy Greenwood is a happy cat who lives on Ivy Avenue. Every day, she walks to the park and listens to a specific pair of birds who raise their family in an oak tree. One day, the birds stop singing altogether, they never whistle ever again. All evidence points to a small house with a post mount mailbox on Memory Lane. Specifically the mailbox.
