But later, I begrudgingly changed my mind since I had tons of work piling up. Then today morning, I received a reminder from contest host @Waleo that it was ending today. I debated with myself whether I should still enter, whether I could make it in time. Given the small timeframe, I'd have less chances of winning since I'd be rushing the entry last minute. But then I went - "Screw it, let's do this!" - and decided to enter anyways xD Because I liked the whales too much - they look so happy and wholesome haha! :3 I had a fun time redrawing @Waleo's awesome piece in my style ;D The original piece was created in Vector, but I later converted it into Raster so I could add my watermark ^^ Also I'd like to mention, I'm sharing this project from my art account, but I'm entering the contest as @bodi3.
