Drag your paddle to block various types of balls and survive for as long as you can or earn as many points as possible! You get 1 health every 5 points. v1.3.3 Rebalanced the ball acceleration after catching them. The high acceleration will be an effect in v1.4.0 however. v1.3.2 Mostly changes to how much faster the balls get after you catch them. These changes may or may not be reverted, depending on how balanced it is. v1.3.1 3 New anti powerups have been added, these have harmful effects but grant a large amount of points in exchange. v1.3.0 6 new powerups have been added to the game. These include score boost, heal, enlarge paddle, enlarge balls, shield, and extra life. Many changes had to be done to the balls to make some powerups possible, so report a bug if you find any! v1.2.3 Made modifications to allow v1.3.0 to be possible, and fixed an old issue that resurfaced. v1.2.2 Tweaked how fast balls are handled if they hit the bottom to prevent scenarios where they can skip over the paddle, prevented balls with info from spawning close to the walls so the text can be read, and cleaned up the code a bit. v1.2.1 Many changes to the sounds were added. v1.2.0 Added a 5th set of "special" balls comprised of 8 different balls, as well as added another color variant, brown, which also has a ultra and mini form. Again, the less obvious balls will have helpful text describing how to stop them or what they do. v1.1.3 Made a minor adjustment to the mini gray ball, as well as the appearances of some balls. v1.1.2 Added helpful info for objects with more unique mechanics. v1.1.1 Fixed some issues and added more music. 11 early balls have also been added, these won't randomly generate yet but you can enable them in the code. v1.1.0 Added mini balls, music, and a timer showing how long you survived. There is also a config in the game code that allows you to change what balls can show up and the rarity of balls.
This project is based off of the 3 of the original defender games I've made on a different coding platform. The sound for the lost target came from Raymond852.
