After six years of waiting, Everstone 2 is finally in development. Now that James has defeated Skuld and obtained the Everstone, he must free the realms enslaved by the Demonurge and conquer this celestial villain once and for all. Bytmap will be somewhat of a different style than Eighbit, leaning on gameplay more than story. It is also going to be a much larger game than the original Everstone, in that there almost a dozen realms to explore, each with a variety of enemies, allies, and secrets. I'm not certain when I'll finish Everstone 2. It could be six months from now, it could be a year, who knows. I set quite a high standard for myself with the first game, and one-upping that will be difficult. But it will be worth any wait once the game is finished.
