OLD TEASER: THIS IS OUTDATED INFORMATION Mark Goldstien is an 11-year-old boy on a vacation in Florida when all seems normal. When, finally, on a boat trip, him and his family’ boat go a little too far south and sink smack in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle. While the rest of Mark’s family survives, he is one more victim of the mysterious triangle. Instead of going to heaven, or whatever afterlife he expected, he is transported into a large city packed full of people who died in unique ways, granted mystic powers dependent on the way they died, ruled by the Diamond Crown. They are split into four classes. Saline Ranks died in the Bermuda triangle, Vortex Ranks died in a tornado, Plasma ranks got struck by lightning, and the Basalt Ranks got buried in a lava flow. However, the peaceful people of the Crown aren’t as far away from war as they think. Together with his friends, Mark faces many challenges, many of which are so important that the fate of the crown is at stake. Unexacted friendships arise, as well as unexpected foes. The challenges Mark faces lay the crown against death, as the fate of the people may rest in his hands.
