They can’t do it themselves b/c they will literally destroy the whole planet by simply flicking a power plant roof. Most people now a days don’t really take the new world god seriously, and their only option is Demi gods, powerful enough to make an impact and still “mortal” so thing won’t go bonkers. And humans find them more relatable and down to earth so they will take him seriously. But all the Demi gods, are, well, no offense, childish and young, at least in god years. So the ancient god of mischief is like “BRO HOW BOUT WE SEND LIKE A MILLION MORTALS IN BARRALBILS’ DUNGEONS (Barralbil is the is kinda like hades) AND WHOEVER SURVIVES WILL HELP US!!! It sound like a bad idea bc it is one, but it was already a massive headache so everyone was like “Fine! But just this once!” And so there’s now lore and an in universe explanation for different play throughs! Q, How do the gods work?: A: There are 3 ranks, Acient Gods, (e.x Nexis the creator god) New World Gods (e.x Barrabil) Demi gods (e.x Nicacu, he’s a future boss) And there a subclass for each name *insert rank name* Minor Gods
