•┈••✦ ♡ ✦••┈• Form •┈••✦ ♡ ✦••┈• ➳ name of kit: eclipsekit ➳ a bit about yourself: hi! i'm wander, a teen artist and musician that enjoys roleplaying here on scratch! i mainly draw cats and dragons but i'm trying to branch out and try other mammals as well, and i'm constantly looking to improve. i love giving my characters lore and interesting stories, whether they be from a roleplay or just in my head. ➳ experience roleplaying: though i've only been roleplaying on scratch for a few months (since late march or early april), i've been roleplaying privately with friends for about 2 or 3 years now, and making up stories in my head long before that ➳ experience in elements: like with my roleplaying experience, I havent been part of elements for very long - just a couple months. despite being somewhat of a newcomer i've settled in quite well if I say so myself - i have 5 characters, all of which i try to use regularly. i'm also pretty active in elements - i usually have the tab open whenever i'm online and check for new threads/active people regularly. ➳ the kit's personality: eclipsekit is a very reserved and introverted kit. she prefers to be on her own and can spend hours lost in her thoughts not talking to anyone. her resting frown is a testament to her somewhat gloomy demeanor - eclipsekit has always been serious and thoughtful, though somewhat pessimistic. despite this, she is quick-witted though a bit sarcastic and sharp-tongued, ready to hold her own against any cat that sees her as lesser or weak. eclipsekit is known for being very protective, both of her siblings and anyone or anything smaller and/or weaker than her. she's often the one swooping in to deliver a littermate from teasing or a moth from being crushed. eclipsekit is also very dependable - you can count on her to get a job done, and she operates like clockwork, finding comfort in having a set schedule for each and every day. she gets upset if things aren't exactly as she planned them or how she's used to them being - eclipsekit is not good friends with change. she tends to be inflexible and stubborn, with a sort of "my way or the highway mindset". eclipsekit is also somewhat apathetic, being oblivious to others' feelings and not caring much for them. to sum up: (+) dependable, protective, clever (=) introverted, serious, sarcastic (-) inflexible, stubborn, apathetic ➳ roleplay example and other in the notes and credits! •┈••✦ ♡ ✦••┈• Credits •┈••✦ ♡ ✦••┈• Parents :: & Designs and Art :: Song :: Starman by David Bowie »—————— ･ ｡ﾟ☆: *.☽ .* :☆ﾟ. ——————«
➳ roleplay example: It was a gloomy sort of day in riverclan, overcast and slightly drizzly - the best weather for thinking, Eclipsekit reflected as she sat curled up in her favorite corner of the nursery, deep enough inside to be warm but not so far from the entrance that she couldn't see the camp and sky beyond. She would daydream a bit, eat, then take a nap till sun-high... A flying moss-ball interrupted the she-kit's rumination, slamming into her cheek and clearing her thoughts like a shaft of sunlight burning away mist. Eclipsekit could feel frustration and a growl rising in her throat, until she heard a voice calling to her, "Eclipsekit! C'mon, come play with us!" It was her younger (but taller) sister Empyreankit, staring at her with those bright blue eyes of hers - how could she say no? "Well... alright," she consented, a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. After all, who said being the oldest meant she couldn't have any fun? ➳ other: eclipsekit is afab and will continue identifiying as female, though she may try out they/them pronouns in the future. she will end up being a demi-biromantic ace, meaning she only feels romantic attraction once a strong emotional bond has been formed and feels no s3xual attraction. eclipsekit carries herself in a very dignified and graceful manner and i might make her suffer from insomnia in the future (not sure if you need research for that but i will readily do some if needed). UPDATES (to fit the family dynamic): - will possibly have a perfectionistic streak (due to feeling pressured to be 'deserving' of moonglow's favoritism) - can/will use her position as a favored child to hurt/offen her siblings sometimes, though perhaps without the direct intention of hurting their feelings (playing into her apathy) - eclipse will eventually hold a grudge against/distance herself from moonglow when she becomes aware of the favoritism he showed her and her siblings and the impact it had on the unfavored ones (due to her protective nature) but i'm hoping they'll make peace eventually - not related to family dynamics but i was thinking she would also sometimes experience headaches/joint pain due to barometric pressure changes and can predict rain that way. she loves rainy days but the effects are a pain she's got an absolutely lovely design! sorry for all the long paragraphs here
