Hello! Welcome to my 1st ever VAC! :) (Voice Acting Competition) I made this at like 2 am b/c I felt the need to do something productive.. at 2:10 in the morning. Don't ask. Lol. DEADLINE: AUGUST 15TH (I might reschedule it depending on how much school gives me. Praying that they won't give me much!) -INTRODUCTION- Okay, so, the way this'll work is I will pick 3 people that auditioned that really caught my eye, and made me astonished! <3 Remember, the deadline is AUGUST 15TH. But I recommend you doing it far in advance, so you get a more likely chance of getting Top 3! This is the first competition I've ever held/hosted on Scratch, so the coding and formats might be a little rusty, so I'm sorry if the coding is poor. I am still pretty new to Scratch, so forgive me. Press the green flag, and it'll do it for you! Also, rules are at the very bottom of this, and I think it is important that you read them, so you know what not to do, and what to do! In other words, the do's and don'ts. -THE SCENE- This is a simple, clear-cut scene between a mother and a child. A classic argument about cleaning their room. There is no preferred gender or anything, just give it your best shot! <3 The scene goes like this: Mom: 'Come clean your room, it's a mess, honey! I told you to do it yesterday and you didn't, so do it now!' Y/n: 'Ugh! I don't want to...' Mom: 'Well, it's your room. So, get to work.' Y/n: 'Ugh!' Y/n: 'Fine...' And that's it! It's really simple and easy to understand the concept of how this might be interpreted! If you have any questions, please do ask, I'd love to answer them! <3 -RULES- 1. Do not troll, and put a sound that is for memes and/or humorous purposes that aren't relevant to this. 2. Do not cuss, even if you are staying in character. Just stick to the script, and try not to add any other abusive language and/or aggressive word usage. This is because I do not want to risk anything harmful and not appealed to the Scratch Community Guidelines. 3. Have fun with it! Enjoy the experience of acting, and being someone you're not! <3
