So basically what the Collatz conjecture is is that if a number is odd then it multiples that by 3 then adds 1 (3n+1. N=number so if n is = to 3 then you do 3x3+1) but you only do this if it is odd if not you dived it by 2. Now there is technically no answer to this question because all numbers eventually reach a 4, 2, 1 loop where once you reach 4 it divides by 2 because it is even makes the number now 2 divides by 2 again because it is even makes the number now 1 now 1 is odd so it multiplies by 3 so that = 3 but then you plus 1 which = 4 now you have done the 4, 2, 1 loop one e this happens infinitely. No number that we have found has not entered the 4, 2, 1
