Hello! Your project is pretty good so far! I have some recommendations of things you should add/change to improve quality. I wouldn’t take what I say too seriously, as I am not an expert in Japanese, this is just the stuff I’ve picked up in my time of learning Japanese. Okay, so firstly, you should add how to pronounce the hiragana that were shown. Ex: あ would be pronounced as the ‘a’ in calm Secondly, I noticed when you were showing how to say goodbye, you wrote it as “sayonara”. Now, this isn’t completely wrong, it’s just that when you write it this way, it can also be used as a noun and not verb in the context you’re trying to use. There was also something similar when you wrote “arigato”. In the majority of things I’ve seen, there is usually an ‘u’ at the end of it. “Arigatou.” (Same goes for the formal version) Third, (this one isn’t really necessary to know), when you were writing alternatives for the word, “sayounara”, you had “ja ne” as one of them. The “ja” is a combination of “じ(ji) and や(ya).” I think it would make it easier for people to get closer to the accurate pronunciation if it was written as “jya.” Fourth, when you wrote the romaji for “excuse me”, I believe it was supposed to be written as “sumimasen”. Fifth, konnichiwa is somewhat formal, so it would be awkward to use with a friend, but it would be better to use a different phrase with someone like a co-worker or your boss. (Like, Ohayougozaimasu, (it translates to the formal version of Good Morning, but it is much more formal than using Konnichiwa since Konnichiwa is a phrase condensed into a word) Sixth, “iie” is a tricky one. It should really only be used to correct someone about something because it is very direct. Example: (just pretend it’s in Japanese) Person A: are you person c? Person B: iie, person c dewa arimasen. (Watashi wa) Person B desu. (No, I am not person c. I am person b) There are many other ways to say no indirectly, they just depend on the situation. I hoped this helped a bit. (Sorry for any grammar mistakes)
Scratch wouldn’t let me copy and paste this into comment for some reason ;-;
