hi all some unfortunate news -- i don't quite know how to say this but i'm going to be cancelling edit camp after this -- but i think i should at least tell you guys the scores beforehand in fourth place... KUROMI at 295 points in third place... HELLO KITTY at 365 points in second place... POMPOMPURIN at 370 points (real close!) in first: CINNAMOROLL at 410 points! congratulations! you were all fantastic. i'm really proud of the work you all put out and i'm sorry you guys didn't get to show off more D: as for prizes, unfortunately i don't think there will be any, as there's only been two rounds and many of you have only done one round :( sry it's been fun to host for a while, but recently it's been getting really taxing having to manage it. i think i did an oopsie and tried to host 36 people all by myself, with only help from others in the judging process D: it's been fun for a while in the holidays, but now it's suddenly become taxing having to constantly switch in and switch out team members and be constantly updated by judges and teams, and spend heaps of time assessing everyone ^^ it's becoming too easy to pour hours into edit camp and ultimately its taking time away from my study and art-related stuff D: im starting SACE next year - the final two years of schooling - as well as exams at the end of this semester, so i have to work extra hard to stay on top ^^ and when i balance that with everything else, edit camp is chewing up a lot of time and effort in just organising people and it's not really working out for me . it'd be more manageable if i was having a lot of fun, but edit camp WITH artfight WITH commissions has really worn me down and i don't think i'll be able to keep it running -- i think i'd make edit camp lame and a drag for you all if i dulled it with how much i wouldn't be having fun, and i don't want to become rude or lash out at people who do small things like upload their challenges late :( so i think it's best if i end it when it's still OK i don't want to bail 'when the going gets tough', but ultimately life is short ^^ there may be something else in another time where i'll host a much smaller edit camp with a co-host, but for nooowwwww i'll put an end here so, to all of u participants, ex-participants, backups, judges -- thank u for what you've done! every single one of you were needed to make this possible <3 you are the backbone of edit camp. i love you and thank you sorry to have disappointed you all -- i am sad, too -- but i hope you guys don't hold it against me D: and in light of that, is hosting her own competition "sanrio camp", at and you may or may not see me there! so if you're still looking for an edit camp, you might like this ^__^ mia, i wish you the best! you can come to me if you need help anytime ^^ so . again, thank you guys for participating -- every single one of you made edit camp real ^^ but i need to enjoy life, so i hope you'll find competition in another, better place ^__^ thank you!
