Can you detect and correct the error in the data by using parity bits? Work with a partner to make a random bit pattern in the "File" by turning the bits on (green) or off (black). Turn on the invisible parity bits at the end of each row and bottom of each column to make an even number of "off". Now, while your partner looks away flip one data bit. Challenge your partner to use the parity bits to detect the error bit. Place the bug on the bit to show which bit is the error.
