Before the game starts, both players choose their pieces and starting positions. Click and drag to move pieces. When you move a piece during the game, it shows you that piece's movement options. The brown square is where the piece started. If it's your king, the piece will start on a yellow square instead of a brown one. Blue means it can move there, red means it can capture there. Green means it can move or capture to that space. A grey square means it can jump over other pieces to move there. If there is a brown square, you can move there if other pieces are in the way. You choose from the 3 pawn types to go in the front row, and your other pieces go in the back row. You choose 1 king type to use for the game. Capture the other player's king to win The wizard does not move when capturing. The dragon can capture your own pieces. Two pawn types have a double move option if they are on their starting space. The other pawn type can't capture on it's first move
There is a limit to the number of each type of piece, you can turn on Infinite Piece Mod in the code The game only lets you do valid moves, unless you turn on Any Move Mod in the code Check and checkmate are still used No castling Pawns automatically promote En Passant is allowed, but not in the code. Two pawn types have a 2 space movement If a piece isn't able to move to a space it should be able to move to, press space and try again
