This project will be used to give our beloved clan an enhanced prey and patrolling system, however, it must be used carefully or it will be taken away. If everyone happens to follow the rules, this should hopefully bring some life back into ShadowClan! - Please note that sometimes the hunt button malfunctions when you press it, so it doesn't give a result. If this happens, it wont count as one of your rolls and you can click again. - Prey with an asterisk (*) is a dangerous prey. If you decide to hunt this prey, be aware that your character can get injured. - This is inspired by the prey system of ttc, however there are clear differences and it should have different effects if it works correctly. - A member of the ShadowClan moderation team (Icarus, Stoat, Mila, Kat, or Scout) will check the hunting log to make sure you are telling the truth about what you caught. They will then add it to the prey list (an updated version will be kept in the comment chain named as such) and when I see it, it will be added to this project's notes and credits ╰┈➤ ❝ general rules ❞ i. Follow all rules, they are important to keep this working well ii. You must stay signed-in while using this. I'm not stealing your info or anything (feel free to check the code for proof), but in order to make sure people are being truthful in the patrols, I need to see who caught what. If you are uncomfortable with this, say so in the comments and I/another ShadowClan mod will roll to help you out :) iii. Do /not/ spam hunt. Or I will come find you. Follow the patrol rules for number of hunts allowed per week. iv. Have fun! This is a new way for ShadowClan to have plot, use it! v. Feel free to suggest things to add! Another kind of prey, an effect of a season, a prey-centered mini-event, etc! This is for the ShadowClanners, so I want yall to have a say in what it does :D vi. I have spent *months* on this project, and I will *NOT* tolerate stealing / heavy inspiration without permission. If you need this for something, ask me. vii. Remember what and where you are hunting! Don't find a gopher in the mountains or a pika in the ocean. Luckily we have like 50,000,000 biomes so we can find and eat lots of things but it needs to make sense where they were caught! Less important rule but figured I should mention it nonetheless ajfjdn ╰┈➤ ❝ patrol info ❞ Every two weeks, a patrol of 3-5 ShadowClan members will be sent out to hunt for the clan. During patrols, you get one extra roll. Patrols should be roleplayed out if possible, but if not, all members must log what they caught and mention it was for the patrol. Pretty simple; catch what you rolled, don't catch what you didn't. In canon, the deputy (Exordiumjubilation) will be in charge of organizing the patrols. ╰┈➤ ❝ next patrol ❞ 7 . 10 ‣ Minkmint ‣ Amberrose ‣ Sequoiaclarity ‣ Emberbellow ‣ ╰┈➤ ❝ prey info ❞ If you are not in time to sign up for the patrol, you needn't fret! Every warrior can roll to hunt for prey twice a week. This means you can hit the "hunt" button twice, and you catch whatever it tells you that you caught. For individual hunting, you *must* roleplay out hunting and link the thread when logging your prey. Failure to do so will result in the prey being invalid </3 Hunting can occur in your starter before just an average interaction if you so choose, to make it eaiser :) ╰┈➤ ❝ prey pile info ❞ The ShadowClan prey pile will be updated every two weeks when the patrol hunting results are submitted. There is no official way of distributing prey, but my rule of thumb is one piece of prey per cat. If we don't reach enough prey for everyone to get one, you could share prey or if you want, you can roleplay your character as hungry in the next moon or so afterwards. You can also roleplay your character as eating something that we have in the prey pile, instead of just coming up with something randomly!
