---If instructions end, go to notes--- Eventually Kanari feels a tapping on her shoulder, and frowns slightly, opening her eyes, even though it seems she had never closed them. Before her she sees a figure standing before her. Angelic wings. Halo. Bright. “Wha- where is here.” Kanari says, looking around. Satan said she wouldn’t go to earth, but it certainly seemed like she had. “We are in the Medium Mundi. The midway world.” The bright being smiles warmly, tilting her head. “Who are you?” Kanari questions, she thought she would have been alone in a white void. “Skye, and you?” “Kanari. How did you get here? Did you come from heaven?” “Nope, I’m from hell, how did you get here?” What? She was from hell? She looked like an angel? But that eye, it was red. Angels don’t have red eyes, only devils. “I fought in the Cupiditas, in a disguise, but my cover got blown, my horn fell off and Satan banished me and sent me here.” Kanari tells Skye, a touch of sadness diluting her sentence. “I see...I questioned Satan about his doings. I wondered why he got devils killed to be sent to earth to bring more devils back. I thought he should have let the people on earth choose their path themselves, he said hell was a good place, but the Cupiditas made me think otherwise, it was an inner feeling inside me.” Skye says reflectively. Looks like they have a few of things in common already. Hell. The Cupiditas. Being banished. “How did you become…?” Kanari starts, but her answer is received before the question was able to be finished. “This place was once just a white void. I was lonely, I prayed for Satan to take me back, but my prayers were answered by someone else. God. I know Satan made you believe he was the only god, but he was once an angel who turned against the true god, as he wanted more power, he convinced angels to join him. That’s when hell started. However some don’t belong there, as they were descendants of angels. Their true blood showed even after eons, as there was the smallest fraction of it in them. I was a descendant and, according to your actions, you might be too...the truth always shines through the veil, your act was of an angel. After praying, God came to answer me and told me everything, he told me who Satan was and of all his intentions, and made this place filled with earth like things, though I was half angel, I was still born in hell, meaning the gates of heaven wouldn’t be able to open for me, so he made this place comfortable and gave me the partly angelic form I have, though as I was born in hell, I still have my red eye.” Kanari stands gaping at Skye’s explanation. “Why did Satan only allow men to fight?” Skye sighs “The angels he stole from heaven were male, and their form changed into a devil. Satan made hell using his own blood and soul - it is like the story of Adam and Eve, Adam created Eve using his rib, god created man in his own image. Satan created devil in his own image, and the devil creates a female using himself, in this case, blood and soul. Therefore he had to gather blood from other devils to transform the first female human that came to hell into a devil, and using devils blood, gave it to her to drink, which made her become a devil too. The problem with female devils dying, is that they forget Hell, as they were originally formed by the blood of others, which contains fragments of soul, stored in your horns (causing female horns to glow more). When the female devil dies, they lose their horns, therefore the souls will be set free, and the blood containing the memory will fade away, and as they forget who they are, there is a possibility they will go to heaven that human life instead. The free souls grow whole from their mixed forms whilst travelling down to earth and become people too, therefore they could also go to heaven. If a male dies, it would be more likely for them to remember because their horns are solid, and there are no contents to be lost during reincarnation, so therefore they are chained to the memory of Hell, it's then up to them if they want to go to heaven, but to cancel out the possibilities, Satan lied to you all, saying Hell was good. Another reason was he could get the females he did have to create families, it was all a competition, he wanted to show God that Hell was better as there was more devils there than angels in heaven, and maybe to convince more angels to fall to heaven. That is why there are fallen angels. All hell was from was a power-thirsty angel...”
“Satan’s a fallen angel?” “Yes, however, it may be impossible for him to rise, he was the creator of Hell.” Skye exhales quietly and smiles softly, looking down. “…I know, it’s a lot to take in, it was when God told me...” “If the souls are stored in the horn, will I forget everything? What will happen?” Kanari asks, panic striking into her like a sword...her family... “You only forget things when the souls are lost during reincarnation, as you still have devil blood in you, the free souls have been stored in your heart.” Skye says, placing a hand on her chest. “However that means god cannot make you the angel you are, because the souls had been permanently connected to you, as when they were set free, they realised you were a part of them. Your horns store power too, from the blood, Satan made sure the power was in the horns, unlikely to be broken, so that no one would be more powerful than him, but as yours was broken, your true power and strength had been released. He feared that if a female's horn had been broken they would use their increased power against him...therefore banished the ones who questioned him or 'betrayed' him.” "You weren't the first to be banished?" Kanari asks, observing her surroundings, "There are others?" Skye smiles sadly and Kanari sees tears forming in her eyes. "...Once; before me, that is...However the devils faded into the void, souls lost forever...if I hadn't prayed hard enough, I wouldn't be here; anywhere. Nor would you...we would become lost fragments of the past. Inaudible whispers in the wind. Dark stars in the night sky. In a world of colour we would be colourless, our existence unknown, or even non-existent..." A loud silence leaves the two standing, swarmed with nagging emotions, yet empty, until a melodic chirping is heard and they both look up at the sky. A cloud glides their way quickly and takes the shape of what looks to be a bird. The white fades into a blue and a bluebird appears from the cloud form, landing on Skye’s finger. Skye lets the bird hop on Kanari who tries to smile. After a couple of hops around, the bird returns to Skye who gives Kanari a comforting look. “There are no limits for a pure heart here,” Skye gently motions upwards and the bluebird flies towards the sky, turning into a cloud again. “Therefore a heart like yours can finally be free.” Kanari smiles again, a melancholy shimmer in her flaming eyes, but as she looks up, she becomes more joyful, as Skye takes Kanari’s hand and flies upwards. Kanari and Skye feels a bond form between the two, as though those few minutes together were multiple lifetimes, as if they new one another since the dawn of time. They understood each other as well as they understood themselves. So far it is the two of them, living happily together. Two sisters. --------- Other books to be written if the chars are won for Skye and Kanari, however if only one can be won then I'll try work around that: 'Engulfed in Clouds' and 'Into the Fire'
