So, I was doing Scratch and watching @moss-shadow 's So this is my senior year series. Suddenly, I heard the rain on my bedroom window. It was loud (I was right in front of it, because that's where my bed is). I looked out the window, and there was rain. A lot of rain. I could hardly see past the rain on my window. I tried to continue watching So this is my senior year, but the rain got louder, to very loud. I had to have the volume at 22 (I had it lower than normal before because I don't have to have my volume at like 30 when watching) and I had to put it up to my ear. I couldn't really tell what was going on in the episode because hail had started (I didn't know that it had started at the time). I eventually clicked the red stop sign and shut my laptop. I walked out into the hallway, and it was very loud. I couldn't even think. I went downstairs and looked out the front door (my mom was looking out it). It was raining hard. I could even see the wind pushing the rain around. Then we closed the door. I hung out downstairs doing my latch hook thing because I did not want to be alone in my bedroom during the monsoon. It was very loud. The backyard was flooded in front of the porch and extending to past the trampoline. It was also bigger than it had ever been before. I took some pictures of the front and back yards. It quieted down a bit. There was a tree branch that fell toward a house (the house was fine; the branch didn't hit it hard) and a branch that fell toward the street. Both branches were at neighbor's houses (next door neighbors). There was thunder and lightning throughout the whole monsoon. I went inside. I went to my room and was taking pictures of the cars going on the road behind us (won't say which road). They were crawling along. Some people went fast, and my mom called them !d!0*s because they might cause their car to stop. I took more pictures. Then came a little black car. It was going deeper into the water and didn't turn around. Big mistake. The car stopped. I saw a person pushing it (I'm not really sure because I couldn't really see it, as it was almost out of sight). Then came along one of those big truck things that can hold multiple cars at once. I couldn't see well, but I think it got the black car onto the thing that holds the cars. Then a police car came by, lights flashing. It stopped in the area with the black car and stayed there. Then came along another one of those truck things that can hold multiple cars at once. It blocked the three lanes as a "Don't go this way" warning. I took more pictures. The rain was easing up. I went out with my camera and took pictures of the two tree branches, the wash (which was flooded), and the water running into the wash (it was hard to see because it was dark). I went back to home, running, lightning flashing in the sky. I then ate dinner and took more pictures. Then we looked at the photos from other people. Half of someone's garage roof was in their backyard. A Circle K cover had fallen, maybe damaging a car (we don't know). A whole street was flooded. It was flooded up to the driveway for another place (it was water and the objects; you couldn't tell where the road started). In our community, some of the road was flooded (not anymore). Basically, that storm was bad. That's all! :)
