Contest entry I got bored of making (lol) I might continue it again sometime Still entering it into the contest however, its better than nothing. The tiles on the far right are randomized. WARNING: Collision is a bit glitchy, if you get stuck, just press R Credits: Artwork - 99% by me, no joke, the explosion effect I found and edited it to fit with the resolution though. Everything else I hand-made Audio - I mean I can't make realistic explosion sounds from my mouth, so I'm pretty sure its obvious. I just went and dug through random audio, a couple from the scratch library. Code - Hand made by me (With a couple tutorials, of course, its hard to make a tile scroller sometimes) Idea - Me. Always me. Originality is key. It's just a 'engine test' at the moment, but you can still mess around in it Heres the question though: Is it a platformer? Yes, but no. It's a platformer, but better than the average 'square character' platformer with wall climbing and spikes. The planned purpose of the game is where you do levels and blow up these evil scientists (And 'canonically' I would 'as the developer' run you through the tutorial guided by my own voice)
