She was too quick. Benjamin stood there, shook. She- she promised! She wouldn’t leave. Scared. Scared. Word repeated in their head, absolute terror. Being with a friend calmed him, but now that friend- best friend- had left him. Abandoned him “You said you’d stay! Y- You promised!” He cried in the direction that Bluebonnetkit had disappeared in. “BLUEBONNET!” They wailed, their paws shaking as they collapsed onto the wooden floor, tears suddenly streaming down their calico face. She left them- she promised to stay! Sh-she… laying down on the ground helplessly, Benjamin held in a sharp breath, hiccuping quite a bit and letting his face get even more wet. “B-but you promised… y-you…” she left you. She doesn’t like you. Abandoned. Abandoned. So Benjamin sat there, wallowing in terror and sadness, sobbing. Notes: Not super long, don’t want it to be.
