Fireflies - Chapter 1

Instructions

CHAPTER 1 OF FIREFLIES. I am so sorry to everybody. I honestly feel like I’ve let you guys down because of how much I procrastinated. I completely lost all motivation, but I think it’s back now, but only for a bit, probably. BUT ANYWAY, IT’S OUT. I procrastinated. So much. I don’t know why, lost motivation, maybe, but I will be working more on this. Also, sorry it’s so short, I just wanted to get it out ASAP. Characters in order of appearance: Bandit Orchid Twinkle Misty Chip Short description of each character: Bandit is the main character. His ‘current’ goal is just to find his parents again. He’s quite skeptical about everything. Orchid is Bandits friend. She’s older than him by quite a lot, and she was almost an adult when Bandit was a kitten. She took him in when she found him wandering around on his own. She’s sweet but can sometimes seem a little protective and even controlling towards Bandit. Twinkle is the oldest of her siblings, but she is definitely the least responsible one. She gets in trouble so often that her younger sister gave her a collar with a bell on it so that she can always find her. Twinkle normally gets her little brother involved in everything she does, and he’s very happy to do so. Twinkle may seem like an irresponsible idiot, but she’s quite intelligent, although she loves control and gets tense if things don’t go her way. Misty is the middle child. She’s the most responsible out of her siblings. She gave both of them collars because of how bad they can be. She’s hesitant to commit atrocities and she’s basically the opposite of her sister. She’s very pessimistic and worried about her little brother ending up like Twinkle. Misty knows that Chip doesn’t know right from wrong, but Twinkle definitely does. Misty tries to push Twinkle away from Chip in a futile attempt at preventing her from influencing him in any way. Chip is the youngest out of his siblings. He’s very gullible and impressionable, so he seems like he’ll turn out like Twinkle. Chip is always excited to get involved in whatever Twinkle is doing and he has started to believe Misty is just trying to ruin his fun. P.S, you’ve just been introduced to the main villain of the story ;) Which one do you think it is? Or maybe it’s none of these ones, hehe.
