So, technically I didn’t lie about something serious I just didn’t say anything. So, about a month ago, I finally convinced my parents to let me drink dr. Pepper. I drank the can throughout my lunch and the next day, I was able to have another caffeinated soda. Like 5 hours after I drank it, I started seeing spots in my right eye. It almost covered the entire eye, but I’m left eye dominant, so I didn’t say anything about it. 15-20 minutes later, my stomach felt bad and I had a small headache. I thought maybe it was because I went in the pool bc sometimes I get dehydrated swimming in the pool and have a headache afterwards, so again I said nothing. 10 minutes later, my headache was unbearable and I lost my lunch, so I finally had to tell my mom about it. When I told her about it, she said to me, “oh thAtS A MigRaInE.” The whole time I had a stupid migraine and didn’t know it. So now we know that I get migraines from caffeine just like my mom. Wheee.
