Pretend this was shared on aug 14 lol It's been 2 years... Although I haven't been as active this year as I was the previous year, I always had a smile on my face whenever I did have a chance to get on this website. My profile still may be a ghost town, but I'm truly grateful for the people who had viewed my projects and have followed me. Thank you :) Within this year, I've made and unshared various projects. One of my most popular projects was "Mr.Incredible becoming Canny: Scratch Edition," which got 600+ views. Wow. I was amazed by this, as I received many loves, favs, and comments. But..something didn't feel right. When I made that project, I was going through a somewhat tough time. I wasn't feeling like myself. The project I made was just a remix of a meme template. I mean, the project I made was kind of funny? But when I compared that project to the projects I've previously made, it just felt so out of place. Did I really want this particular project to get recognised? The more I looked at it, the more it made me think. I then came to the decision to unshare it. I began to unshare projects I didn't put much effort into. In doing that, I lost the motivation to make new projects, thinking they wouldn't be the best quality or given 100% my effort. I kept getting new ideas, and then abandoning those ideas the next day. But this wasn't right. I realised that it was okay to take breaks, that it's okay to make filler projects once in a while. It's not like I have to make top tier animations and games consecutively. I should make what I enjoy. After all, Scratch is a website about having fun and expanding your creativity :) In the upcoming year, who knows if I'll be more active than this year. Who knows?
