the problem with asian hate

there are countless stereotypes, not only directed at south asians, but also east asians. why do people just look past south asia and direct their focus solely on east asia?? is south asia not apart of asia or something??? so many people get bullied + mocked because they're asian. what i dont understand is WHY do the kpop idols, korean/chinese/japanese actors/singers/authors, etc get so much, how do i say it... fame but not that everyone needs fame/wants fame, its just those people get praised for doing their job but asians living their life, asian kids living their life get bullied and mocked?? it does not make sense! and kids or anyone, for that matter, who gets bullied can be both east asian or south asian, and for that matter, can be any race. if humanity wasn't like this, there would be absolutely no need for the #blm, #stopislamophobia, #stopasianhate, and the hispanic hate hashtags and awareness posts to even be there. if humanity wasn't like this, we could all live peacefully, but no, some people just need to spread negativity, hatred, and just need to be putting people down. why?? i know the title of this project says "the problem with asian hate" but as i type more, i just need to also touch on all races that get hate. more on asia, though asia is the largest continent in the world. as a girl whose ethnicity is sri lankan, i am always deeply offended by the ridiculous amount of people who just seem to always have the urge to think that south asia is not apart of asia, it's only east asia. are korea, japan, and china the only countries in asia to you? there are 48 different countries in asia, as far as i know. understand that we are all apart of asia. all 5 regions, are connected together, and make us one whole continent. think about it, if us asians get bullied even in foreign countries (other than ones in asia), imagine the bullying that people go through in asia itself? even asians bully other asians. it all doesn't make sense, but it is so very likely that several kids are getting bullied, facing the severe problem of bullying at such a young age. this bullying can lead to ruined childhoods, and lead to a depressed, insecure person with intense anxiety. bullying goes way beyond just 'a silly joke' or a 'fun prank'.. it makes you feel worthless. it crushes your soul. it makes you want to run away and never come back. and most importantly, it hurts. never bully someone. you never know what people are going through. what they're going through at their job. what they're going through even in their own home. you never know the outcome of that 'silly little prank' or 'fun little joke'. life can be rough, but i know you can do it. do your best and ignore all the negativity coming your way. enjoy your life to the best of your ability and most importantly, spread the message. thank you so much for reading.
