This has got to be my most random game ever: mostly because every part of it was reccomended by elementary school students. Even the name. I can't make up stuff this weird. So last week I taught a 3d-printing summer camp. I wanted to teach some scratch code on the last day, so I decided to start making a game and teach the students how to finish it in class. When I asked what they wanted in it, this is what they decided: -- It has to be in space -- It has to be set in high school (okay) -- You have to catch little monsters -- There has to be a "yandere" girl who hunts you down -- It has to be in JRPG form (they said "like pokemon") So I made this in a night and taught them how to make the guy move, collect the slime, and get killed by the chaser in class.
I can't make up stuff this weird. All art from Opengameart. Hey, this is my first game with a walkcycle! This is just the first of the 8-bit games I'm making to test out Gelf2 mechanics. Next: Random terrain generation! #Highspace #Space #8bit #game
