Aight so backstory time. (This has some of my OCs in it because story and drama. Also it’s in my personal world I made for specialized spice of course this is not what happened it is for backstory purposes unless told so) Petal goddess of floral, She/Her, They/Them Footnotes at bottom of the story.. The flower’s retaliation She isn’t the strongest of the gods. She doesn’t have legions of armies at her disposal. But she is regarded as the most worshiped in the past. People believed in a prophecy where she would cleanse the world of imperfects and start the world anew. No trash, no musty air, no polluted seas. But that came at a cost. A cost so great people didn’t want the prophecy to take hold. The cost? Many losses. Souls must be collected for this to take place. So a select few secured their place in safety of the cleansing. In a underground metropolis of B5623. Such as the military (and their families) rich retired citizens, and the high class. The rest must buy their way into the city. The goddess was outraged, starting the cleansing a couple millennia too early. As a punishment for morals. The three factions of the descendants*(1) stopped the goddess from ever passing the Limbo’s barrier*(2). Sealing her into a state of peace, tranquility and comfort to help her when she returns to her duties once more. But, a shadow cast through the heavenly retreat. Their feathers casting shadows until all light was flickered to death. The embodiment of pride, Shine* (3) asked for a proposal. She helps her with the extermination, she ascends to back where she became. The heavens. Petal agrees, quite hesitant. Shine helps Petal break out of the chains of the separate dimension, and regaining their power once more. Shine used her armies to take over and destroy the three factions. And used her scarred blade* (4) for important and strong figures. Though one man stood in their way, the god of war (unnamed) took out all of their armies, Until the two leaders where left, Shine and petal. The god demanded them to lower their blades. They refused. So the god war raised the spear of the sun* (5), burning their surroundings to a charred state. Them too. So they only had to raise that white flag, all their efforts gone as they were sent back to their duties to never talk again. (Also there’s a forbidden romance type subplot that I was too lazy to write about.) Foot notes: 1. The descendants are the ones are a group of people who share a shame god ancestor, only for their power to be stripped away from them when they were deemed unworthy of those powers. 2. Limbo’s barrier is a barrier between dead and alive. It is in between the heavens and the pits. Where people who have not done anything really that bad or that good. 70% of people make it there, and they’re able to pass through the terminals to make it the gates and etc (other places after death in other religions). 3. Shine, descendant of the god of the peacock, pride and self-love. 4. Sacred blades are spiritual things given to a special figure in power (not human/earthborn species) that represent their soul and livelihood. The one of the harvest will get a sickle, or the one of love will get a bow and arrow. 5. Spear of the sun, the one of creation. The divine being who made everything (in said world) used this to make the earth by carving rivers and such with this. Bring warmth to the cold rock.
