Show this to people who say your drawing is a furry when it isn’t. What the picture says: FERAL Ferals are basically animals, or the "normal" version of common, mythical and fantasy creatures. Mammalian ferals will walk on all four legs. They may or may not be sapient, and typically do not wear clothes or accessories. Ferals are often drawn in floating or dramatic poses to emphasize their markings and overall appearance. UPRIGHT ANIMAL An Upright Animal is exactly that: An animal or creature straightened up and attempting to act like a human. Uprights are common in fairy tale illustrations and cartoons like Zootopia. Mammalian uprights will walk on plantigrade feet, and have normal paws instead of hands. They are depicted as sapient, typically clothed, and engaging in human activities. ANTHRO Anthros are animals or mythical creatures with some more human qualities added. Werewolves and animal-like races in RPGs are usually depicted as anthros. They retain their animal origins in their heads, tails, fur, and in their typically digitigrade feet, but will be slightly more human in their posture and ability to interact with objects. Their forepaws will be more similar to hands than paws. They are sapient and may or may not be clothed. FURRY Furries are essentially humans with animal heads and tails. Their hands are drawn as human hands, and their feet are drawn as human feet with animal-like toes. They can be drawn wearing human clothing and engaging in any human activity. Unlike anthros, their fur is less detailed throughout the body but emphasized in the tail and ears. Their ears are simplified to look more like those of a stuffed toy than a real animal, and they commonly have human hair styles or their head. MONSTERS "Monsters" are playful, exaggerated depictions of an animal, creature or character. They typically have giant paws and voluminous . Fluffy fur. Monsters will incorporate characteristics from reptiles or demons, such as forked tongues or horns, to add to their monstrous look. They are typically unclothed, and may be depicted with glowing eyes or blood.
