This is for Design: An Art Game. I didn’t know I had to make one of these, and I don’t fully know how the attack system works. Sorry. Species: I’ll take anything! Feral, anthro, humanoid, original species, Pokémon, worm on a string, I don’t mind! I like more fantastical species, though, like vampires and dragons. Colors: I like color schemes with contrast. For example, if it’s mostly dark blue, I’d like there to be silver, gold, or neon green to balance it out. I like when there’s at least one bright color, but I don’t like when it all clashes. There are color schemes that I like in the project. Patterns: Somewhat complicated designs are nice, but I prefer things that are at least somewhat animation-friendly. Aesthetics: I’m pretty fond of casual-ish emo, goth, and scene stuff. I’m also drawn to stuff with a sort of cryptidcore or weirdcore vibe, as well as retrowave and vaporwave. Also beachy maritime stuff. I don’t like kawaii that much, or indie, but if there’s a spin on it, I can stomach it. Stuff that I’m not sure where to put: I like when the character’s design hints at their story or personality. Little quirks to their design that set them apart, like an oddly-shaped tail or oddly-colored eyes, are a good thing. I also like designs with seeming contradictions in their themes, like a cute-looking character with a taste for violence (although that example is a little overdone).
