Apocalypse… defines a revelation, a cosmic cataclysm in which God, riding on a White Horse, destroys the ruling powers of Evil and raises the Righteous to life in a Messianic kingdom. Similar prediction has been defined in Hinduism as well, where God comes riding on a White Horse ( in an avatar named as Kalki), to restore Righteousness. I have tried to depict the same in my artwork. But for me Apocalypse is not a Complete Destruction, it is not the End of Everything, but the Start of something New - a Rise to a New World… a New Era. I believe it is not the first time it will happen, it has happened in the Past as well, each time giving rise to New Beings, New Civilization… similiar to a Phoenix- which is Born from Ashes - this cycle is immortal. Meaning of Colors n Illustrations- 1) Background colors - black, orange, red, yellow - symbolic of destruction, fire, flames, ashes 2) Rider on the Horse - symbolic of Jesus or Kalki avatar 3) Destroyed ball at bottom - Earth 4) Phoenix - symbolic of Rebirth of New Era after Destruction 5) Music - gloomy at the start to show the sadness that comes with war and destruction. It starts to rise and becomes strong and motivational with the rise of Phoenix.
