Now you know what happens when Minty gets bored. ā----------------- 1. how are you? just wanted to tell you that you are beautiful, smart, amazing, and you deserve the world. I'm doing well, thank you! 2. what kind of art do you enjoy doing? i like digital art and watercolors. 3. what is you favorite medium? Watercolor all the way!!! 4. who is your favorite artist? I don't know of enough to choose. Anything cute, I guess. 5. where do you get your inspiration?I honestly can't say. I just kind of think to myself HMM ART 6. what do you like to create? Ridiculously overdetailed drawings drawn by a girl who has no idea what she's doing. 7. when have you started doing art? i've been drawing since i was young but started taking it seriously about 2 years ago! I have exactly the same answer so I'm not gonna bother changing it 8. are you planning/doing art for a career? I'd like to be a photographer, so not drawing, but still art. 9. do you post art here? I'm filling this out, aren't I? 10. are you interested in art history? not in the slightest. 11. do you go to any classes for art? Yup, I do mallet percussion in band. 12. list 5 of your inspirations. it can be anyone! Mariah Elizabeth Daisy Draws @SkittlestheBunny I haven't got two more. 13. do you ever get burnt out? if so, how do you deal with it? Occasionally. I just stop drawing and do something else until I feel like drawing. 14. what supplies do you 1. Kindle (omg advanced technology woah) 2. Watercolors 3. Pencil 4. Fine liner, it's useful in watercolors. 15. do you like painting? I paint with acrylics maybe once a month, but I use watercolors all the time. 16. do you sell your artwork? Nobody with half a brain cell would buy my art. 17. what do you like to listen to while you draw? I listen to country music, nonrefundable school country, or I sit in silence. 18. what's the hardest thing in art for you? Making things look physically possible. 19. what skill are you learning/want to learn? I'd like to get better at drawing cats. I've got a good thing going but it definitely needs work. 20. do you put filters over your artwork? What, you think this tiny Kindle can handle that? 21. does you family support you and your art? They do, but at the same time they all kinda just go 'hehe looks good'. 22. do you consider yourself as a beginner? Yes. Two years is nothing. My art looks like it's made by a four year old sometimes. 23. what is a rule you always go by when creating art? Hard, hard lines. Square for a face, rectangle for legs, circle for body. Then I fluff it out. 24. do you like drawing backgrounds? It's actually one of my favorites! you don't have to put much attention into doing a background because they're just a setting; you don't have to fix every little mistake. 25. can someone commission you? if so, put details! I mean if you ask me to draw something for you I'll probably see what I can do but not really. 26. what is the most important part of art? (color, form, etc.) it's all so important, I couldn't choose! I don't really color my traditional art, so probably the lineart. 27. do you like to shade? ssh, don't tell anyone, but I don't shade. I don't think I have a single drawing with shading. 28. if you were to give a young artist a piece of advice, what would it be? It's gonna look terrible, it'll be a mess, but no matter how terrible it looks, it isn't a mistake. You'll learn how to draw better over time by looking at your horrible drawings and deciding how to make them better. 29. as an artist, where do you see yourself in 2 years? I'll probably still be drawing cats and magical horses, just maybe a bit better. it's taken me 10-16 years to figure out how to draw a horse with wings. 30. last question! do you genuinely enjoy making art? I do! I find it to be an excellent way to pass time, and crafts and traditional drawing give me something to do that doesn't involve a screen.
