respect other people's decision a rant by @sincerely-wynn ●●● disclaimer: this isn't targeted towards anyone or any specific leaving project. ●●● have you seen a leaving project in the past week? you probably have, i've seen a number of them so far. i understand, that it might be your friend who is leaving, i understand that you are upset, i understand that you don't want them to go. but please- respect other peoples decision. go to a leaving project, absolutely any leaving project, you will see it. "see what?" friends guilt-tripping the person, and trying to make them stay, friends insisting that they stay, friends insisting that they check in every once in a while, friends saying that they will 'forever wait for you' to come back, friends saying that they will keep them in their friends section in their bio don't do that, please. if i ever posted a leaving project, i don't want people to go and say all that. listen, if someone posts a leaving project, respect their decision, you shouldn't say all the stuff on top, try to be respectful and don't ever make it sound like their reasons aren't good, don't tell them to stay. just say things like 'imy ... i hope you stay safe... have a great rest of your life' things like that, nice things, that show that you respect their decision. ** also what the actual what is it when people say 'awe please stay <3 bUT i ReSpeCt yOur dEciSion' yeah right, you don't respect the decision if you are telling them to stay that's all for today © @sincerely-wynn 2022
