Backstory: Once there was a pure black cat named Malstorm. He lived all alone in a cave and only went into the clans once and a while to catch up on buisiness and trade his game for other necesities. Once there was a light gray she-cat named Rushpelt. She lived alone in a den, but withing her clan- Riverclan. She was an experienced hunter and was looking for a mate. One day she noticed a large, mysterious black cat wandering about the clan. She found him quite attractive, and when she spoke to him, he was a gentleman (gentlecat?) to her and went out of his way with kindness. After three days he announced to her that he would be leaving the clan again to return home. She was nothing but a mess of despair and lost hope for the next three months. Then he came back. She noticed him sitting by the river's edge alone. She sprinted to him. "You came back!" She exclaimed. He sighed. "Only for the day. I needed a bit of company. I leave tonight." She sat down next to him. "I am going with you." Malstorm looked down in surprise, but Rushpelt was staring out at the river with determination. He smiled inside. "Then we will leave now." Rushpelt stood up silently and followed him out. She followed him and followed him deep into the night, until they arrived at a den. It was deep and dark. "We will live here." He said calmly as he lay down on a pile of dead grass. That night, Rushpelt slept awfully. She awoke to the sound of Malstorm yelling at a whimpering kit, and when she looked at his bed, he was gone. This cat was beign cruel to some poor kit. She thought of approaching him, but was to afraid. This went on for three moons. Finally, she approached him. "Malstorm, why do you torment kits at night?" She said calmly. Her whipped around, furious. "They were once my kits, but then they tried to join a stupid clan. Now they are paying for trying to leave me." Every bit of gentleman had lost him. Ruchpelt started yelling as well. "If this is how you treat your kits, I'M LEAVING!" She turned to leave but he scratched her and she stopped. "You need to stay!" He yelled. Rushpelt turned. "I and not staying- I will NEVER be like you!" Malstorm laughed cruely. "Wanna bet?" Rushpelt was never seen on Malstorms short visits to the clans again. No cat or other creature for that matter, ever heard or saw her again. It appeared that Malstorm lived alone once again, unless you listened closely at midnight and heard the whimpering of a she-cat and three kits...
