assalamualikum, may peace be upon you and may allah bless yourself and your loved ones, ameen<3 — — — all muslims have faced lack of motivation in their faith. at least once. how to overcome it? ill tell you. first of all, shake away that shaytan from whispering things to you. you can do this by saying ‘authoo billah himinash shaytanir rajeem’. it may seem like hes still there, but trust me, hes gone. now that youve done that, what is making you feel de-motivated? is it health? problems? ask allah for guidance and help. allah will help you in the best way possible, inshaallah. now for the true tips, ill show em to you:) 1 • pray. even if you feel like you cant, just do it. allah asks for the bare minimum, it used to be 50 prayer a day! please do the 5 daily prayers, they will benefit you in the long term. 2 • read more quran. the quran isnt just some arabic letters, its a book of knowledge. allah has given Un information on how we should live our lives. i recommend reading one surah per day, after asr prayer. try and get one in your native language, so you can understand the meaning too. you can get these online or sometimes free at mosques. 3 • follow the sunnah. whether you are sunni or shia muslim, we all should follow the life of prophet muhammad (pbuh). there are many many things online to teach you how to live like the prophet (pbuh). things like drinking water, praying, even walking up stairs! 4 • use islamic phrases. things like ‘subhanallah’, ‘allhamdulilah’ and ‘bismillah’ keep you mindful and grateful of allah. allah likes those who remember Him constantly so just simple saying these at the appropriate times really adds to your deen! 5 • use a tasbeeh. tasbeeh’s are beads on string that are used to count how many times youd like to say something. for example, if i want to say ‘allahu akbar’ 99 times, i use a 99-bead tasbeeh. there are smaller and larger tasbeehs too! you dont have to use a tasbeeh, if you can count without messing up thats great! i HUGELY recommended saying ‘al-khaliq’ 100 times for 7 days. this is one of allah’s many names and after those 7 days, allah sends an angel to guide to you to the right path. i hope these helped!
